1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Transferly (transferly.in), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Description of Service
Transferly provides two file transfer methods: (a) Cloud Transfer — files are uploaded to our servers and made available via a shareable download link for 7 days (or 15 days for registered users); (b) P2P Quick Transfer — files are sent directly between browsers using WebRTC and are never stored on our servers. Both services are free to use.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to use Transferly to upload, share, or transfer: (a) content that infringes any intellectual property rights; (b) malware, viruses, or other harmful code; (c) illegal content of any kind, including but not limited to material that exploits minors; (d) content that violates any applicable law or regulation. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
4. File Storage and Deletion
Files uploaded via cloud transfer are automatically and permanently deleted after their expiry period (7 days for guest uploads, 15 days for registered users). We do not guarantee availability beyond the stated expiry. Files transferred via P2P are never stored on our servers and are not subject to any retention policy.
5. Your Files and Privacy
You retain all rights to the files you upload. By uploading, you grant Transferly a limited, non-exclusive licence solely to store and deliver the file to the intended recipient. Transferly will never read, analyze, sell, or use your files to train machine learning or AI models. For full details, see our Privacy Policy at transferly.in/privacy.
6. No Warranty
Transferly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that files will be delivered without loss.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Transferly and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of files, data, or revenue, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the service.
8. Accounts
Creating an account is optional. If you register, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@transferly.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Transferly at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Transferly shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
